Q.
I want to become a Member this weekend, but know I can't make the
next walk. Will you count this as a cancellation?
A.
No, you can write down 2 away dates on your form in advance and
I will notify the computer that you should not be placed on the
list for those particular walk dates in advance. These dates MUST
however be submitted at the time of registration. Afterwards any
readjusting work is considered to be a cancellations.

Q.
What Happens if I do not show up for the walk at all and do not
cancel in advance?
A.
Please remember we wait for everyone on the list to show up. If
we end up waiting for you it will count as a walk.

Q.
I only have Sundays free? OR I only have Saturdays free?
A.
No problem. Just check off the "Sunday only option"
or the "Saturday only option". I will make sure your
name is only placed on the Saturday only lists or the Sunday only
lists.

Q.
I can't make it to the walk on time, can I meet the group for dinner?

Yes, if you have preregistered for the walk. The social after
the walk is part of that day's event. The dinner gathering will
count as one of your walks.

Q.
Can I just come to the restaurant and register? I would enjoy having
dinner with the walkers?
A.
If you plan on doing that it is best to let me know in advance.
If you contribute your funds at dinner to support our group that
would be fine. The funds really pay to congregate a group whether
it be in a park, in a restaurant or in any other venue or group
activity. Thanks again for your support of our group.

Q.
Can I use my credit card?
A.
Yes, we can take your credit card number in person, personally
by telephone or if you prefer you can mail it in by sending in
a form to register. There is a nominal convenience fee added for
using your credit card. Please note : All nominal convenience
fees are waived if you sign up for 3 or more items at once.

Q.1
I notice
that the walks in packages are considered consecutive? Will I be penalized
if I cannot make it?
A.
1
No,
please call in a cancellation by Thursday Night and I will take
your name off of that walk list and move you into the next walk.
Your personal walk count on the front of your envelope will also
be readjusted.
Q2.
What happens
if I have to cancel a 2nd time?
A2.
I will again readjust everything.
Q3.
What happens if I have to cancel a 3rd time?
A3.
Due
to all the readjusting work required, the 3rd cancellation will
count as one walk. The cancellation process; however, will then
start over at this point. You can again safely cancel 2 times
and the 3rd cancellation counts as one walk.

Q.
What
is the money used for? Walking is a Free activity.
A.
I was once attacked in a park. (I fought and got away. See
about us - New Articles)
The group was started in 1990 to congregate a group of people
so we could provide each other with "safety in numbers".
The funds are used for administration costs, telephone lines,
printed material, stamps, ads, webpage etc. All the costs required
to keep a group running. Thank you for your support of our group.
